To secure the future of young people in Ghana through improved juvenile justice and the inclusion of persons with disability in decision making processes.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
Specifically, the project will seek to:
- Scale up project Phase I to (i) increase awareness and (ii) deepen knowledge on the Children’s Act 560 and the Juvenile Justice Act 653.
- Deepen engagements to sensitize and enhance knowledge of young persons, including persons with disability, on the newly passed National Child and Family Welfare Policy (2015).
- Engage more young persons with disability on their rights to participate in decision making processes at the local level and creating the platforms for engagements with local government officials.
